𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐑𝐀𝐆𝐎𝐍 (𝐇𝐁𝐎) 𝐀𝐔 "𝑀𝑜𝑛𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑟, 𝑚𝑜𝑛𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑟, 𝑔𝑒𝑡 𝑜𝑢𝑡, 𝑔𝑒𝑡 𝑜𝑢𝑡, 𝐺𝐸𝑇 𝑂𝑈𝑇!" - 𝑅𝘩𝑎𝑒𝑛𝑦𝑟𝑎 𝑇𝑎𝑟𝑔𝑎𝑟𝑦𝑒𝑛 - visenya velaryon is the illegitimate daughter of rhaenyra and daemon targaryen, although she is presented as the daughter of rhaenyra and laenor. rhaenyra confused and angry over daemon's abandonment never revealed the truth about visenya's true parentage. - rhaenyra was in labour for three days with visenya and she cursed the baby calling her a monster. when visenya was eventually born she seemingly looked like a monster and had a slight curve to her spine and the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck. because she didn't cry, she was assumed to be dead. rhaenyra brings the baby to syrax to be burned. after hesitating syrax unleashes her dragon fire on the baby. when the fire burns down it's revealed that visenya is alive. while her scales and tail were burned away, she was still left sickly and weak. - however, rumours of visenya having scales and a tail continued. they were only fueled by the fact that for most of her life visenya was kept separated from everyone at the advice of the maesters who believed her heart was weak. - there are also rumours regarding her parentage, she's aware of them but honestly, she doesn't really care. she sees laenor as her father. and she sees her brothers as her brothers. - despite initially "cursing" her rhaenyra loves visenya and the two were very close. visenya adores her mother and wishes she could be more like her. she was also close with laenor, who felt like he could relate to her feeling trapped. - she got along best with laenor and was closest to him, much to rhaenyra's dismay. - she would spend much of her time reading histories and studying languages (corlys would often bring her books back from his travels). she was also very talented at sketching. - for most of her life she didn't have a dragon of her own, as it was believed her heart was too weak, but her mother's dragon would always respond to her and visenya would spend most of the time when she was allowed out of her rooms with syrax. - she has her own personal bodyguard and nurse. she's very close to both of them and sees them as a second set of parents. - in the years following laenor's supposed death she becomes convinced that daemon murdered him. she becomes obsessed with finding out the truth. rhaenyra's marriage to daemon also drives a wedge in their relationship and visenya starts to pull away from her as she feels her mother chose daemon over her and her siblings. - following laenor's death she bonds with his dragon seasmoke, even if everyone seems to think it will be dangerous for her (it's not, she's fine). - personality wise, visenya is slightly withdrawn. while she isn't quiet she prefers to observe rather than speak unless she is really comfortable with someone. she is kind but does have a vicious streak (thanks daemon). - she's very smart and has an aptitude for learning languages, - when her brother is made heir because of her poor health this gives her freedoms she wouldn't have otherwise to pursue other interests. - as she is rarely at court her manners aren't as ~refind as her brothers but she's not really concerned about that. - she enjoys proving people wrong and many assume that she is weak and dumb. she also uses this to her advantage to find out things. - she does need medicines and tonics from time to time but isn't as weak as people assume she is. - open to ships (slow burn, friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, arranged marriages, possible targcest (depends on who though), smut) - very open to changing any of this au cause idk what i'm doing - how she feels towards her family is slightly detrimental on threads, cr, etc; but i kind of see her getting along with her siblings. how she feels toward her cousins (uncles? aunts? the fuck are they?) will likely be more ambivalent. i think she'd probably get along best with helaena and then maybe aemond. i can't see her liking aegon at all. - how she reacts to daemon being her biological father is also somewhat detrimental but as she suspects that he killed laenor, in general she's probably isn't his biggest fan. - if she finds out that laenor was also involved in his own death she will 100% defect to the greens and adopt a more scorched earth feeling towards her family.
